Summit Trading is a dry bulk operator with strong expertise in the parcel segment. We are incorporated in Switzerland with capital raised from, and infrastructure provided by Comerge Shipping Co. Ltd and SwissMarine Pte. Ltd. Headquartered in Geneva, we have three branch offices in The Netherlands, Bulgaria and Singapore.

Kenny Au
Director
Kenny is the founder and owner of Comerge Shipping Co. Ltd. which he established in 2015. The Comerge Group focusses on agricultural products supply chain management covering origination and supply sourcing, ocean shipping, terminal processing and market sales. Comerge Shipping Co. Ltd has a subsidiary TIS Trade Asia Co Ltd. who actively trades grains for Asian destination markets.
Peter Weernink
Director
Peter Founded SwissMarine in 2001 and is still actively involved in SwissMarine’s activities globally. Prior to that Peter held various positions in Cargill International latterly responsible for Cape & Panamax trading activities. Peter is a Dutch National and studied Industrial Engineering at TU Eindhoven. He holds other board seats in a number of companies outside of shipping in the Netherlands and Switzerland.
Jeremy Bryan
CEO
Jeremy joined Summit Trading SA as CEO. Prior to that he was Chief Operating Officer of Navios Corporation since 2019. Prior to the years at Navios Corporation, Jeremy held several positions in Cargill International S.A. where he worked since 1992. Most recently as Global Head of Drybulk Trading, having previously served as the head of the Panamax and Handymax trading departments. Jeremy served as a Lieutenant in the Dutch Military and has a Bachelor of Business Administration from the Nijenrode Business University.
Tjerk Weidema
COO
Tjerk, also known as TJ, joined Summit Trading SA as COO. In 2011 TJ started as a management trainee at Cargill B.V. in the Netherlands and moved to Cargill International S.A. in Geneva in 2013. Prior to expanding Cargills parceling activities he had several roles on the Geared and Panamax desks covering South-American markets. TJ has a bachelor degree in Business Administration and holds an MsC degree in Marketing from the University of Amsterdam.
